Why franchise?
We can all see that in these times the big become even bigger and that the small become even smaller or fail. In our opinion, one of the ways to "stay in the game" is to cooperate with the companies that have an already established BREND NAME. It is much easier to operate with the help of an already developed image, logistical support, education teams and the advertising support. Small and medium enterprises largely survive also due to franchising. Furthermore, the trend of franchise development is growing in the world, and the Eastern Europe has not been avoided. Serbia is almost at the bottom of the European list when it comes to the number of the franchise, and there is a huge potential for the development of such kind of business operations.
What is a franchise?
Franchise can be described as a business marriage between a franchiser and a franchisee. A franchiser is a renowned company, with a recognizable name (BRAND NAME), image and technology, which wishes to develop its business operations in a specific territory. The franchisee obtains the right to use the name, the image and the technology of the franchiser in a specific territory for a certain period of time. Apart from a fixed charge when buying the franchise, it is usual (but not mandatory) for the franchisee to pay to the franchiser an agreed Royalty fee.
Suitability
Franchisers are looking for individuals who are capable of receiving their know-how and systems and also capable of developing a successful business through the combination of hard work and precise implementation of their business concept. You have to show in one way or another that you are suitable for purchasing the franchise and that you are capable of being a part of an established system.
Purchasing a Master Franchise
If your ambition is to have more that one or several franchise facilities, and you have a substantial capital and intend to purchase a franchise for an entire country, than you qualify for the Master Franchise. By purchasing a Master Franchise you become a franchiser in the country.
